What it says:

*** Star Letter ***

I was so pleased to read your Real Life story 'They sent my
baby home to die' (September 3 issue) and I was glad to discover
Aaron's doing so well and is now going to school.
What makes the story even more poignant for me is that the organs Aaron received were donated by my son Wade, who was
killed in a hit-and-run accident in May last year, at the age of 10.
The part of Aaron's story regarding his new school uniform
also touched me because Wade should have been starting secondary school this month. I never got to buy Wade a uniform.
But knowing that Aaron was excited and looking forward to
starting school has helped to make a rough time much smoother for me.

The council has now
put 'traffic calming'
measures into place
where Wade died, they've also put a
memorial in the
railings of the park
where he used to play,
so I can at least take
some confrontation
from that.
